This error is related to Invalid ResourcePool or missing ResourcePool with sample VM (from which VM you're cloning/creating VM). Please follow given below steps to resolve it.
1. Make sure if you are creating VM from VM template then ResourcePool must be assigned with sample VM.
2. Edit your configured OS under "Cloning Mapping section" with VMware addon module and then reconfigure it and save the changes.
