If you are using cloning method for VM creation & getting error like "you are using cloning method for VM creation" To fix this issue follow the below check first :
VM must be power off and VMware tools must be installed on it.
If your sample VM is in power on state then you can not perform this action in power on state . Please make sure your sample VM must be powered off.
